Lately when Travis Scott’s name pops up in the news cycle it’s because he’s busy turning concert venues into madhouses or dating one very famous woman, but now he’s back with three brand new tracks to make his fans go even crazier at his shows.
Travis did promise his new project would be dropping soon, so maybe this is a precursor to that, or maybe he was just feeling generous on a random Monday night. Whatever the case he dropped “Green & Purple” featuring Playboi Carti, “a man” and “Butterfly Effect” onto his Soundcloud account for free and without notice late Monday night.
They don’t appear to be attached to any project on his Soundcloud, but there has to be something in the wings for LaFlame to suddenly release a nice parcel of material. He’s also been heavy on his feature game as of late, hopping on Drake’s More Life cut “Portland” as well as making an appearance on DJ Khaled and Calvin Harris‘ forthcoming LPs.
With Travis set to join Kendrick Lamar on his DAMN. tour this summer — at least the first half of it — it would make sense for him to have some new material to perform for his fans, even though the old stuff is clearly doing the job, so a new album just might be on the horizon. Check out “Green & Purple” featuring Playboi Carti, “a man” and “Butterfly Effect” below.
