Serena Williams is, almost certainly, the greatest female tennis player of all time. Even if you argue that, you have to admit that she is easily the best women’s tennis player in the world right now, as she has won each of the last four Grand Slams with relative ease by disposing some of the game’s best players en route to major championships 18, 19, 20, and 21.
However, Williams has aspirations beyond the tennis court, namely involving her budding career as a fashion mogul. Her post-career goals, her upbringing, and her 16-year career were outlined in the cover story for the next issue of New York Magazine. The story features a photo shoot that shows a more elegant side of Williams, one that we don’t usually think of when she’s smashing forehands and running over opponents in straight sets. Williams also showed off her insane flexibility in one picture, which featured her doing a full split on top of parallel bars.

Aside from the fact that Williams has one of the craziest six packs that I’ve ever seen – it looks like you can grate cheese on them – it’s still amazing that someone her age with as much mileage on her body can still do a full split. Of course, even though she’s an amazing athlete, it was a little difficult, so Williams had to stretch before the shot.
