Roger Federer advanced to the semifinal round of the U.S. Open on Wednesday in impressive and routine fashion. Beating Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-3, 6-1, Federer’s win was so good it was boring. But you know what’s not boring? Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake dancing to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce.
Look at ’em go.
It’s pretty good, enough to get the crowd going. But if we’re being honest, Fallon and Timberlake are hitting on the easiest part of the dance. We need some hip movement, because those moves defied the laws of physics and might be mathematically possible somewhere outside the space-time continuum. Or something. Anyway, here’s Beyonce showing you all the what-for and why-is because why not?
Of course, this isn’t the first time Fallon and Timberlake have collaborated for our general amusement. When Saturday Night Live celebrated its 40th anniversary, the pair did their own history of rap by recapping everything that ever happened on that show.
It’s a foregone conclusion that Fallon and Timberlake are pretty much BFFs. And BFFs that dance to “Single Ladies” together, stay together.
