New York City Is Very Into Helping WWE Celebrate Raw 25

As you already know, Monday night will bring with it the WWE Raw 25th Anniversary show, and there’s a lot going on to celebrate the milestone. The big event kicks off at 7 p.m. ET, complete with a kickoff show and a special intro video, tons of special guests, and some veterans on commentary.

Of course, with WWE in their ancestral home of New York City, the festivities are really already underway. In addition to a Make-A-Wish event at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, WWE Superstars have been seen at landmarks across the city.

For example, here are Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, along with Dana Warrior, taking another Make-A-Wish kid on a tour of the Empire State Building. And in maybe the craziest news of all, the Empire State Building will actually be lit up in red on Monday night,

Earlier this morning, WWE Champions Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, AJ Styles, and Roman Reigns rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It’s true that this happens about once a year, with the Wyatt Family representing the company in 2016, and the New Day in 2017, but this time it was the folks at the very top of the card.

Of all the times that Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns has been treated like the top Raw Champion because Brock Lesnar can’t be bothered showing up for something, this is perhaps the most overt. It’s hard to object, though, considering that the Intercontinental Title has pedigree, history, and a nice belt design, whereas at this point the Universal Championship is a random piece of red leather that’s been in the hands of a part-timer for going on a year. On the other hand, one place you’re guaranteed to see Brock Lesnar, alongside an amazing collection of WWE stars past and present, is on tonight’s massive Raw celebration.
