Raw Officially Announced Their Halves Of The Money In The Bank Ladder Matches

WWE Raw

Over the weekend, images reportedly from “local advertising” seemingly spoiled the entrants to the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches at Money in the Bank pay-per-view®. On Raw, we found out those entrants weren’t accurate … for the most part.

WrestleMania 35 host, sports-entertainment journalist and … authority figure (?) Alexa Bliss opened Raw with the announcement of the four men who’ll “represent Raw” at Money in the Bank: Braun Strowman, RIcochet, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin. That’s half (of half) correct for the Raw side, as the graphic predicted Ricochet and McIntyre, but also Rey Mysterio and Cesaro.

Later in the night, Bliss announced the four women who’d be representing Raw at Money in the Bank: Natalya, Naomi, Dana Brooke, and Bliss herself. Same deal as before, two for four, with Naomi and Natalya predicted, but Brooke and Bliss not. It would’ve been nice to know we had Sasha Banks coming back sometime.

Predictably, both match (half) announcements resulted in matches, with the men splitting off into a tag team match, and Naomi challenging Alexa Bliss. The other half of the competitors will be announced on Tuesday’s edition of Smackdown Live, so take the “local ad” graphics somewhere between, “plans change,” and, “someone made convincing graphics and had some solid educated guesses.”
