Peter Jackson is shooting both Hobbit films (The Unexpected Journey and There and Back Again) for release on December 14th of 2012 and December 13th of 2013. They’ve been releasing video blogs like this one from the set. They recently moved from the New Zealand set to shoot some scenes at the historic Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire (near London). This most recent video blog was filmed at Pinewood and gives a much better look at the dwarves whom we’ve only seen in pictures like this and these and this so far.
The video below gives us a much better look at the epic dwarven beards and about three seconds of Saruman just to prove Christopher Lee is still alive. Which is good because we weren’t sure he survived that Trolololo accident and we’ve been looking forward to his next metal concept album. On the other hand, we’d accept a Weekend At Bernie’s style Saruman if it were the only way to get The Hobbit made.
