You’ve already seen the trailer where John Cena plays ersatz Dolph Ziggler, now Amy Schumer wants to let you know that the C-Nation is bigger than you think.
“He’s huge,” Schumer told [E! reporter Marc Malkin] the day after Trainwreck had its world premiere at South by Southwest. “People just gasped.”
According to the interview with E!, the film contains a post-coital nude scene wherein Cena’s recreates that infamous Randy Orton photo, but instead of holding it up with his hand, it’s held up by his…uhh…Franchise.
“I think it was part of a broomstick,” Schumer said. “Jimmy was our prop guy and he was whittling one day. I was like, ‘What you doing, Jimmy? What you working on?’ He was like, ‘I’m making John’s erection.'”
Ha! And they say With Spandex doesn’t cover hard news. Is this what the part of his entrance song is referring to when it says he can’t turn his swell off? I guess this puts that John Cena championshirt shirt into a whole new light now, huh:
