Ronda Rousey has been flirting with WWE for a couple of years now, and it’s been really great to see her treat it like something she feels is a legitimate athletic accomplishment. While it’s improbable she’ll be in WWE during her MMA run, it’s something she might be into when she retires.
Via the not-glitchy-at-all Fox Sports:
“What I would love to do: I got an Olympic medal, I would want to retire from MMA as one of the greatest of all time, I would love to have the chance to be the boxing world champion, and I would love to have the chance to be a jiu-jitsu world champion. I’d love to have the chance to be the Divas world champion and just be the best of everything at one point.”
It’d be incredible to have Rousey show up on RAW holding boxing and jiu-jitsu championships, and just as great when she shows up on RAW with a bunch of legit belts. Plus, seeing her toss Bayley and Sasha around and have them fight back would make for great matches. Until then, we’d have to settle for Rousey in 7-second divas matches like it’s the Attitude Era again. Joy.
