That’s right, Dean Ambrose, Movie Star is a thing that’s happening. The Lunatic Fringe is starring in the third entry in WWE’s venerable 12 Rounds series, 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown, and WWE and Lionsgate Films have just released a poster and spine-tingling plot description for the movie.
Here’s the poster, featuring a Dean Ambrose without greasy strings of hair all over his face. Weird!
Here’s that plot description…
“Ambrose plays Shaw, a detective that returns to active duty after the death of his partner. When he uncovers evidence linking his fellow officers to a murder, they frame him for a homicide he didn’t commit. Trapped in his own precinct, Shaw will do whatever it takes to expose the dirty cops and clear his name. With twelve rounds in the clip and one shot at redemption, nothing will stand in Shaw’s way in this action-packed thriller.”
Sounds like the movie is basically Assault on Precinct 12 Rounds, so, for those keeping track, WWE Films has still never had an original idea. 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown hits theaters and on-demand services September 11. Too soon, WWE. Too soon.
