The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness has been on the WWE Network for a little over a month now and it took me about three minutes to realize I’d never watch another second of it. But if you did happen to watch the show, then you saw this skit on “buried” WWE talent. The skit takes digs at dirt sheets and the internet, pointing the finger at supposed erroneous stories about who’s getting heat and backstage politics. We at With Spandex like to assume they’re making fun of all the other wrestling sites on the world wide web.
The stars they mention who’ve gotten buried were Lana, Dolph Ziggler and Hulk Hogan. Hogan has been edited out of the YouTube video, but he’s still on the Network (which is sort of surprising). However, one guy who got deleted from both videos was Damien Sandow. He was supposed to be one of the buried guys, but he has since been cut out. We can only speculate as to why. Maybe he’s the only guy who’s actually getting buried. See, the jokes are only funny if you can pretend they’re not true.
On the bright side, maybe it’s possible they have a push lined up for Sandow so they don’t want to say they’re burying him. HAHA just kidding.
