Way back in August, 2K Games held a pretty rad pre-SummerSlam media event for the release of WWE 2K16. I got to watch adorable dog videos with Seth Rollins, do an in-person comparison to see if Sheamus’ flexed bicep is as big as my head (it is!), and eat almost an entire fruit tray while watching a live performance by Fabolous. Now, if you’re thinking that one of those things doesn’t sound like the others, you’re not alone. The general sentiment amongst the sports and gaming journalists in the room was “…Fabolous? Wait, really?”
As it turns out, the rapper’s son Prine Joso is actually a huge WWE fan. This led Fabolous to make a last-minute play to be Father of the Year by completely redecorating his room, WWE-style:
My son is obsessed wit WWE wrestling so what do I do? Re-do his room & Turn his bed into a wrestling ring!! Couple things didn’t ship in time for Xmas but the Ring Bed was the main attraction & he was beyond happy. But expect more pics when the rest of the stuff comes in. Cuz his room gon be LIT!! We 3 matches in & I’m exhausted but his smiles are more than worth it!! #MerryChristmas #PrinceJoso
Prince Joso also got to meet John Cena back at SummerSlam, so finally all the pieces of that very confusing evening are coming together. Truly a Christmas miracle.
