Oh, Hulkster. 2015, if anything, has been a year that should have taught him to be a little more careful about what he says where another human being can see or hear him, and yet…nope.
To his credit, the disgraced former WWE Hall of Famer thought he was doing a nice thing by responding with positive thoughts and love for someone’s sister suffering from HIV. The tweets and the account that initiated the unfortunate interaction have been deleted, but livejournal user FKA made sure they were saved for posterity:
Again, this would be a very nice gesture from a disgraced pro wrestling legend, except, you know…that lady isn’t someone’s dying sister, she’s international pop star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini:
You may also know her as Cheryl Tweedy of mega successful pop group Girls Aloud, or from her messy divorce from Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole. She’s a judge on the British version of The X-Factor, and had a part in the Colin Firth/Rupert Everett lovable disaster St. Trinian’s, a movie I watched once when I was drunk and felt like it was a good idea (probably the best review you’ll hear about it). She also had malaria once, and I promise, North American friends, she’s real famous to people who aren’t most of us.
Hogan was clued into the hoax, prompting this response:
Why do so many people on Twitter get so wack,it's really sad,I just don't know who to respond to anymore,I'm out HH

I guess now it’s our turn for thoughts and prayers that Hogan never calls anything ‘wack’ again.
