Ben Simmons’ Choke On Karl-Anthony Towns Already Has The Perfect WWE Remix

In case you missed it, Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid and Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns got into a fight during Wednesday night’s game and were ejected. The true highlight of the brawl was when Ben Simmons took KAT to the ground in a rear naked choke, and Towns appeared to “tap out.”

That got the Internet’s wheels turning, and within about as much time as you’d expect, there was a WWE remix. For your enjoyment, please watch the Ben Simmons choke set to commentary from WWE’s Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, complete with a Karl-Anthony Towns voiceover and the only music you can ever hear when someone taps out to the STF.

Warning: If you watched WWE television between 2005 and 2015, this might give you flashbacks.

You hate to see it, but man, what else are we supposed to do when you visibly tap out in an NBA brawl? He’s lucky Ben Simmons didn’t attack him afterward and put him through a courtside table. There’d be Jim Ross AS GOD AS MY WITNESS, HE IS BROKEN IN HALF remixes for days.

Regardless, let’s hope the next Timberwolves/Sixers game opens with Simmons talking about the incident at center court, and Towns running in to hit him from behind with a folding chair.
