It’s been a strange few weeks for John Cena. He confirmed that he won’t be wrestling at WrestleMania 32 on Sunday, but recent reports have him being medically cleared any day now, if not already. We want to know what he’s doing, but it’s mostly playing sticky balls and dancing to Salt n’ Pepa.
While we wait to find out what’s happening with Cena at WrestleMania, here’s a story he told The Tonight Show about the time he made and ate dog food yogurt.
Cena shared the story of his worst summer job, which was working as a yogurt vendor for his aunt in Rockport, Massachusetts. The store didn’t have many customers, so Cena would keep himself occupied by adding grotesque monster ingredients to the yogurt. The examples he gives are a Chef Boyardee beef ravioli ice cream — that really should’ve earned him a ravioli commercial — and a “large Milk Bone ice cream,” because they kept Milk Bones behind the counter as treats for dogs.
If you’re ever down on yourself and feel like you’re never going to live your dreams, remember that John Cena, a man who has granted over 500 Make-A-Wish wishes, was once stuck in a Massachusetts yogurt hole eating crunched up dog food.
