People Had No Idea What To Make Of John Cena’s New Hairdo At WWE Super Show-Down

WWE

The last time we saw John Cena on a national stage, he was battling Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble just weeks after his breakup with former fiancé, Nikki Bella.

Since things were called off with Bella, he’s undergone quite the transformation, not only in his mindset of apparently now wanting to become a father, but also his look in general. WWE fans saw Cena for the first time in almost six months at Super Show-Down in Australia, and they had no idea how to respond to the former champ’s new hairdo.

Some went down the “who does he look like” route, with options ranging from Homer Simpson to Mark Wahlberg. But the most often referred to was former Smackdown rival JBL.

Others just simply couldn’t wrap their heads around the fact that Cena has hair…and HBK doesn’t.

In the end, Dad Cena was the go-to move here. If anyone would have known this was coming, the producers behind Blockers may have held off one more year to get peak picket-fence painting Cena.

As Cena continues work on the film Project X, we’ll see if the hair (and trimmed down physique) becomes the new norm for the 13-time WWE champion or if it’s a temporary deviation.

For now, we have no idea when he’ll appear next, as he was as cryptic as ever following his win alongside Bobby Lashley against Elias and Kevin Owens.

A safe bet would assume he’ll be right back on screen at WWE Smackdown Live’s 1,000th show or the upcoming Crown Jewel event in a return to Saudi Arabia.
