WWE Mae Young Classic 2018 Complete Late Rounds Spoilers

WWE held its second set of live TV tapings for the Mae Young Classic 2018 at Full Sail University on Thursday night, covering the entire second, quarter and semifinals rounds of competition. Here’s everything that happened, and everything you need to know.

Please be aware that everything you read in the subsequent paragraphs is an actual, massive, legitimate spoiler for what will happen over the middle rounds of the second Mae Young Classic tournament. Second Round

1. Toni Storm defeated Hiroyo Matsumoto. Storm countered a lariat into a bridging roll-up to win the match and advance to the quarterfinals.

2. Rhea Ripley defeated Kacy Catanzaro. Ripley pinned Catanzaro with a sit-out pumphandle slam.

3. Lacey Lane defeated Taynara Conti with a crucifix roll-up, the same way she won her first round match.

4. Meiko Satomura defeated Mercedes Martinez. Satomura advanced to the quarterfinals with Scorpion Rising.

5. Io Shirai defeated Zeuxis with a moonsault.

6. Deonna Purrazzo defeated Xia Li. Purrazzo won by submission with a double Fujiwara armbar.

7. Tegan Nox defeated Nicole Matthews after a headbutt, a cannonball in the corner, and a Shining Wizard.

8. Mia Yim defeated Kaitlyn. Yim kicked out of a spear and won the match by submission with a knee-bar.


Quarterfinals

1. Meiko Satomura defeated Lacey Lane. Satomura won the match with a Death Valley Bomb. After the match, Satomura gave Lane the ring for a big ovation from the crowd.

2. Io Shirai defeated Deonna Purrazzo.

3. Toni Storm defeated Mia Yim. After the match, the crowd chanted “please sign Mia,” similarly to how they changed for Cedric Alexander during the Cruiserweight Classic.

4. Rhea Ripley defeated Tegan Nox. The match ended when Nox suffered a serious injury to her knee and was taken away by medics. Nox missed the tournament last year with a knee injury and has now been knocked out of this year’s tournament with another. Heartbreaking.

2. Jessie Elaban, MJ Jenkins, and Xia Brookside defeated Allysin Kay, Reina Gonzalez, and Vanessa Kraven.

3. Aerial Monroe and Candice LeRae defeated Jinny and Killer Kelly.

Semifinals

1. Toni Storm defeated Meiko Satomura. Storm won with a Tiger Bomb.

2. Io Shirai defeated Rhea Ripley. Shirai won with a moonsault.
