Mark Henry is one of the most accomplished, freakishly athletic wrestlers ever. People focus on his strength but Henry has always been incredibly agile for his size. I met him once at SXSW a few years back and he said that he could dunk a basketball with two hands at one point…and this video proves that it’s damn possible.
Here’s what appears to be some sort of exhibition between Olympic athletes and Mark Henry chose to enter a dunk contest. As you can see, he doesn’t pull of a dunk, but he can grip the rim pretty well which is a feat in itself. So while he fails at dunking, he still is pretty amazing.
Bonus points to his mom for treating this like it’s his actual Olympic qualifier or something because she’s into it.
