The real-life couple — now divided between brands by the recent Superstar Shake-Up — had kept a low relationship profile prior to letting E! follow them around for “nonscripted” shenanigans, and tying the knot was no exception. They’ve both been pretty open about the harassment and even death threats against Renee for being in close proximity to Ambrose (why, girls, love yourself please), so it’s no surprise that it took wearing their rings on television and a cheeky Kevin Owens to expose their nuptials to the world.
During Tuesday’s episode of Talking Smack, newly shaken up Superstar Owens commented to Renee ” .. .by the way, congratulations. You know why I’m saying congratulations?” It was quickly brushed off by Shane McMahon and Renee herself, but the cat was already out of the bag. The internet quickly got to work, digging through the details of their private lives and posting a copy of their marriage certificate online, because we can never just leave things alone anymore.
