If you follow Lucha Underground or Pro Wrestling Gorilla then you know a little bit about the amazing repertoire of Ricochet, a.k.a. Prince Puma. The young man is a spectacular high-flyer, and he’s also one of the rising stars on the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) scene. Will Ospreay has also appeared on the independent American wrestling scene, but now he’s garnered a contract with NJPW. With both men in the Japanese wrestling promotion, it was only a matter of time before they collided and put their high-flying, death-defying wrestling moves on display against one another.

Fans of these grapplers will recognize these moves, but there’s no doubt that the execution on these spots shown here are just about perfect. Take this sequence of maneuvers for instance.

Ospreay and Ricochet are in the midst of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament, an annual wrestling extravaganza that pits some of the best lightweight wrestlers in the world against each other. Personally, I’ve see these guys execute some of these moves before, but damn if they’re not incredibly impressive. Check out the gorgeous two-piece of a falling tornado kick with a springboard stunner — Ricochet sells like it just killed him.
