SummerSlam 2015 is going to be an unusually big show, both in terms of length (it’s four hours long this year) and star power. Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and Stephen Amell will all be there, and now it sounds like we may be able to add Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to the list of special guests.
During an interview with Fox Sports, Roman Reigns was asked if big cousin The Rock would be at SummerSlam, and his answer was not particularly cagey.
“I wanna tell you, but I don’t want to give anything away.”
Yeah, that’s not what somebody with nothing to give away would say. Roman elaborated…
“Let’s just put it this way: It’s The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, biggest superstar on Earth, possibly. If he wants to show up to Brooklyn, he’s going to show up to Brooklyn. It wouldn’t be the first time and it probably won’t be the last time. It’s WWE. Anything can happen.”
Just say “no comment,” Roman. You are terrible at keeping secrets.
If Rock shows up at SummerSlam, and it certainly sounds like he will, it will be interesting to see what he does. Of course, he may just pop off some catchphrases, maybe make some Kevin Owens fat jokes, and call it a day, but there has been rumors of a Rock/Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania 32, and costing Brock a match with Undertaker would be a logical way to set that up. What do you think? Will Rock show, and, if he does, what mischief do you think he’ll get up to?
