In this week’s best pro-wrestling news, Scott Steiner is the newest Shoney’s restaurant franchisee and will be opening a “fresh new Shoney’s” in Acworth, Georgia. Big Poppa Pump is your breakfast hook-up!
To celebrate the announcement Scott and his brother Rick drove a bulldozer to the stank old Shoney’s while patrons were still inside and started tearing it down. Watch the above clip for the drama of what happens when you have a bulldozer but forget Rick Steiner’s riding in the bucket. I love that they bought a Shoney’s, made a point to destroy a Shoney’s, then got so hungry destroying said Shoney’s they needed to EAT AT SHONEY’S.
Here’s the script for their next commercial: “You know, they say all restaurants are created equal. But you look at Shoney’s and you look at O’Charley’s and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you eat a buffet-style breakfast at a restaurant, you got a 50-50 chance of enjoying your meal. But Shoney’s is a culinary freak and it’s not normal. You’ve got a 141 and 2/3 chance of getting full at Shoney’s. See, Acworth, the hunger don’t lie and it spells disaster for you!”
I just hope they’ve got Midajah working at the hostess stand.
