Shinsuke Nakamura’s NXT Theme Is Already Spawning Some Great Covers

Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura made his highly-anticipated WWE debut back at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. The King of Strong Style made a memorable and impressive first outing, quashing fears that someone referred to as Swagsuke would have their light dimmed by competing in a WWE ring. Also? That even without Subconscious, he could still enter to a certified banger.

The Rising Sun (because what else would WWE call it?) was a collab between theme-makers CFO$ and violinist Earl Maneein. The internet totally freaked out, even those of us who were sure we’d already danced to it in a goth club back in 2001. Whether you’re obsessed with Shinsuke, or just really miss Voltaire being a thing, everyone loves it. It even topped the iTunes Soundtrack chart, revealing that a) this chart is a mess, b) someone in CFO$ is totally into Ellie Goulding, and c) you can pick up that Nelly song for a real nice price:

Sasha Banks’ CFO$ theme generated some really cool covers, including Snoop Dogg’s rendition at WrestleMania 32. Now, Nakamura fans are already bringing it with these badass versions.

First, via Redditor Nc1212, this rad 8-bit version that makes us desperately wish this were from a real video game:

Kay Suzuki is a Japanese violinist who already put her spin on Nak’s aforementioned New Japan theme ‘Subconscious’. Here’s her absolutely nailing The Rising Sun:

These are the best two so far, but there’s still time. Come on, internet, give us more covers. We know you’ve got it in you. Cool piano rendition? Yeah! Spanish guitar? Yessss! A version recreated by an all-cat rock band? Holy sh*t yes please.
