If you’re worried that Arrow star Stephen Amell’s going to take it easy because he’s a celebrity in a tag team match at WWE SummerSlam, think again.
After jumping into the ring on Raw and going face-to-face with Triple H to make the match — Amell and Neville vs. King Barrett and Neville’s WWE nemesis, Stardust — Amell has been putting in work actually learning how to do it. He posted the following picture on Twitter, and a message challenging anyone who thinks wrestling’s fake.
People who say wrestling isn't real should see me hobbling around today like John McClane after Hans & Karl shot the glass out.

It’s a shame we won’t get him wrestling in a full Green Arrow costume (or decked out as Casey Jones, who he’s playing in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2), but this tag match could be a sleeper. Everyone else in the match knows what they’re doing, so finding a handsome celebrity athlete with a million Twitter followers, over four million Facebook likes and a legitimate WWE fandom to fill things out might not hurt. I’m still praying for a boxing glove arrow finish, or at least Wade Barrett getting thwacked in the back of the head with a cricket bat.
As for wrestling being fake … well, do what you can, but you can’t convince everyone.
