Last month, news broke that pro wrestling legend Sting would be forced to retire due to the cervical spinal stenosis and injuries suffered during his WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match against Seth Rollins at 2015’s Night Of Champions. Sources said he’d announce his retirement during his WWE Hall of Fame acceptance speech, but Sting was quick to say those were just rumors and that he wasn’t officially retired.
Then, during his WWE Hall of Fame speech on Saturday night, he officially retired. Well then.
You can watch the moment below, including the Stinger’s final words and a very well deserved standing ovation.

“I just want you to know this isn’t goodbye, it’s just see ya later.”
If that announcement bums you out, here’s Sting Too Sweeting during his speech.
