We knew that The Rock was going to show up at WrestleMania 32, but his exact role was a bit of an unknown. As it turns out, he returned to face off against Erick Rowan, and after that, he and John Cena faced off against the Wyatt Family.
The Rock originally showed up (with a flamethrower, because sure) to announce that the WWE Universe set a new attendance record at this year’s WrestleMania. He was eventually interrupted by the Wyatts, which led to him and Bray Wyatt exchanging verbal barbs before he took down Rowan in a matter of seconds.
The match ended and all three healthy members of the Wyatt Family surrounded The Rock in the ring. This led to Cena running out and helping The Rock fend off the Wyatts.
