Hey, if Hulk Hogan is back, why not bring back Tough Enough?

PWInsider‘s reporting that on March 5, WWE filed a new trademark for Tough Enough, either for a revival of the reality show or as the name of a new show about the search for a female Superstar currently casting. They’re certainly not going to call it the “Diva Search” again.

Here’s the blurb:

WWE filed a new trademark on “Tough Enough” on 3/5, citing that it was for good and services, specifically, “a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fans; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

While the most recent iteration of the show’s winners weren’t successful — both women’s winner Sara Lee and men’s winner Josh Bredl were released — it did give us Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, and the Velveteen Dream. Previous stars from the show include The Miz, John Morrison, Ryback, and more.
