Trump Foundation’s tax filings from 2009 to 2014, and found that in the past five years, Trump hasn’t actually contributed any money to it. Trump claims $102 million in donations during that time, but it turns out those donations weren’t in cash, they were mostly free rounds of golf and coupons to his hotels and golf courses.
There’s a lot to it, but if you’re reading this on a wrestling blog, here’s the hook: The biggest donors to the Trump Foundation during that time were actually Vince and Linda McMahon.
The WWE owners and Donald Trump have a longstanding friendship and partnership and made the biggest donation during that time period — $5 million — following Trump’s WrestleMania appearance in 2007.
