It’s been one whole year since WWE parted ways with Ariane Andrew, best known as Cameron, an erstwhile cast member of Total Divas and even more erstwhile Funkadactyl. Since then, Ariane has been focusing on her acting, modeling, and spokesperson career, and most fans assumed she was done with the business forever. But apparently, she’s not about to rule out a comeback, and is supposedly on good terms with the company as well.
Icon Mag spoke to Cameron, and via Extra, we have her comments about her current relationship with WWE and her desire to come back one day if everything lines up correctly.
“As far as I am concerned WWE and I parted on good terms,” she explained. “I have no ill will towards anybody there. I am grateful for my time as a WWE talent. I appreciate all of the love and the hate I have received over the years from the WWE Universe. No matter what was said about me I appreciate their candor and their passion for the business.
“I would definitely love to come back in the future to show the WWE Universe my full potential. I like to say this isn’t goodbye but more like see you later. There will forever be a chip on my shoulder. Maybe one day I will be able to prove myself to the WWE Universe.”
Well, if the rumors about Eva Marie are true, Total Divas might have an opening on the cast very soon. You can always use a TD veteran, right? Even if Cameron has unfortunately split from poor, befuddled Vinny. We thought that was a pairing that would live on forever in history, like Melina and Alicia Fox.
