WWE Cruiserweight Classic Finale Open Discussion Thread For 9/14/16

After weeks of killer matches and emotional endings, the very first WWE Cruiserweight Classic is drawing to a close. Here’s what’s in store for the two-hour finale:

The biggest tournament of the summer started off with 32 of the world’s best cruiserweights. Tonight, Zack Sabre Jr., Gran Metalik, Kota Ibushi and T.J. Perkins square off for the Cruiserweight Classic Trophy and global bragging rights. Who will reign supreme? Find out during the CWC Live Finale, tonight at 9 ET/6 PT, only on WWE Network! – via WWE.com

Zack Sabre, Jr. vs. Gran Metalik

Zack Sabre, Jr will use his crummy posture and laundry list of painful, bendy submissions to ground the high-flying lucha libre style of Gran Metalik. Can Metalik flip himself out of harm’s way before he gets contorted into a pain pretzel, or will ZSJ coil himself around his Mexican opponent like a willowy anaconda?

Kota Ibushi vs. TJ Perkins

Japan’s Golden Star put on an instant classic in the second round against Cedric Alexander. Can he do the same thing with social media darling TJ Perkins? Will TJP dab his way into the final? Or will Ibushi use his arsenal of aerial maneuvers to catapult himself into the main event?

Flip on into the comments to let us know your predictions for the semis, who you think will be the last two cruiserweights standing (moonsaulting?) in the final, and who will ultimately take home the most prestigious dick-shaped trophy in pro wrestling.
