A historic WWE Draft gets underway on SmackDown with the future of 30 Superstars to be determined on Friday night’s episode. WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins will represent Raw in a match against SmackDown’s Roman Reigns to decide which brand will earn the first overall pick. (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Tonight is night one of the WWE Draft, wherein USA Network and Fox compete to build rosters for their shows. It’s … gonna be weird. Stars like Frank Thomas and his big dick energy are going to be present, as well as his and its opposite, Alex Rodrieguez. Check out the full list of guest stars here.
2. Seth Rollins will battle Roman Reigns for the first pick in the draft, which’ll be funny if they end up drafted to different shows.
3. Braun Strowman is set to face Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel, but maybe he’ll renew his rivalry with Colin Jost as well.
4. How many matches will we get in lieu of celebrity guest stars drafting? Over/under set at 3.
5. Fingers crossed for a Cletus run-in, possibly to save Sting.
