By now, I’m sure you’ve already seen the all-important With Spandex interview with Mark Henry, where we discussed cake, his future and his love of Bayley. Now it’s time to put that aside and enjoy the second of our ESPY Awards red carpet interviews, this time with WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and his manager and wife, Maryse!
We asked them both some of the same important questions we asked Henry and the rest of our interview subjects, including who they wouldn’t want to fight. Now you can hear first-hand from The Miz just how terrifying it actually is to wrestle Brock Lesnar. (The inevitable answer: extremely.) We also learned that Maryse is a vegetarian (no quail protein for her), and which sandwich you should absolutely order if you ever visit The Miz’s father’s restaurant. Probably just gonna toss a visit to that establishment directly on the old bucket list.
I also had to ask The Miz just what in the hell is going on with Johnny Manziel. Some things even a die-hard Cleveland sports fan can’t explain. But hey: at least The Miz got to watch his beloved Cavaliers win a championship. It’s been a pretty good year for the only A-list movie star in WWE.
