As Seth Rollins marches towards a fateful bout with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, he’ll square up with Dolph Ziggler following the latter’s attack on Shawn Michaels on SmackDown LIVE. Can Rollins show up The Showoff and continue his preparation? Or will Ziggler stop The Kingslayer in his tracks? Tune in to Raw, live on Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network to find out. (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Tonight is a “Samoan Summit” between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe that I’m assuming The Usos aren’t invited to.
2. The Usos face The Revival and (ugh) “The O.C.” in a triple threat match for the Raw Tag Team Championship, so maybe they’ll just win the Raw tag titles again, because why not.
3. Ricochet, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Sami Zayn and Andrade are competing in a gauntlet match that should just go three hours and be the entire show. The winner challenges AJ Styles for the United States Championship at SummerSlam, so just tack that onto the end.
4. Becky Lynch faces Alexa Bliss, or whoever’s going to sub-in for her at the last second.
5. Seth Rollins looks for revenge against Dolph Ziggler, the man who lost at 14 seconds at Extreme Rules and honestly shouldn’t be seen as a threat to anyone at this point.
