Brock Lesnar is back, Seth Rollins defends the Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio and two Legends sit down for a monumental edition of “Miz TV.” Raw’s season premiere airs live Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network. (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. It’s the “season premiere” of Raw and Smackdown’s headed to Fridays on Fox, so you can expect a new announce team, a new set, the probable return of pyro, and more. Hopefully some of these things contribute to the wrestling being better!
2. Seth Rollins defends the Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio, which would be a real dream match if there wasn’t a 99% chance of it ending before the finish with The Fiend showing up and fingering Mysterio to death.
3. Ric Flair and Additional Unspecified Wrestling Legend will be guests on Miz TV. Can we get a Fiend appearance HERE, so the main event can happen as scheduled?
4. Cedric Alexander will challenge AJ Styles for the United States Championship again, despite losing a championship match on the pay-per-view pre-show and then getting pinned again by the champion the following night. Because that’s how feuds work!
5. Also, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss will probably fight for real.
