As you might imagine, WWE is pretty jazzed about returning to Orlando next year for WrestleMania 33. Florida is one of WWE’s favorite places — not least because that’s where pretty much every pro wrestler lives, anyway. They’re counting on the Orlando tourist traps to entice loads of people to Mania once again (not that the event needs any help in luring wrestling fans every year), and in addition to a jam-packed WrestleMania week in 2017, they’re already starting the special celebratory events. Like, next week.
The WrestleMania tickets will officially go on sale on November 18, and WWE is kicking those ticket sales off in style. On Thursday, November 17, WWE will host a free WrestleMania On-Sale Party at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, which will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase Mania tickets early. So basically, if you live in the Orlando area, there’s no reason not to stop by this thing.
But wait, there’s actual stuff happening there, too! The event will be hosted by Renee Young and Booker T and will feature several NXT matches, as well as appearances from Charlotte Flair, Cesaro, Big Cass, Carmella, Titus O’Neil, Neville and Alexa Bliss.
The announced matches for the show:
– TJ Perkins vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas
– Patrick Clark vs. Dan Matha
– Tucker Knight and Otis Dozevic vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss
– Macey Estrella vs. Sara Bridges
There will likely be other matches added, but it already seems like a worthwhile way to spend a Thursday night, even if you’re not going to buy WrestleMania tickets then and there.
