The Dallas Mavericks Celebrate Their NBA Title On Twitter And YouTube

As you may have heard, feisty Internet billionaire Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat last night to lock up the 2010-2011 NBA title in one of the most obvious “good vs. evil” narratives in the history of sports. With that said, one of the neat aspects of life in the social media era is that we can all wake up the next day and see what the team and their fans did to celebrate after the game — like Mavericks star Dirk Nowitski pounding (Jay Z’s?) champagne out of giant gold bottle at a club in the photo above.
So last night, since the game was played in Miami, the Mavericks took their championship-caliber talents to LIV in South Beach (along with noted bandwagon rider Lil’ Wayne), the same club Lebron James’ mother was arrested in a few weeks back, and a couple of Twitter users, Terrence J and Jeff Wade, who were there posted a handful of pics from the celebration onto Twitter. I was also able to find some video on YouTube of the celebration in Miami and in Dallas, in addition to posting a few Twitter reactions. Enjoy…
Walking into a room with a championship trophy held high is never a bad way to walk into a room.
Nobody parties like pocket-sized guard JJ Barea, I hear.
DIRK!
Brian “The Custodian” Cardinal has moves, y’all.
Confetti!
Even Ian Mahinmi may have gotten some last night.
Jason Terry spreads his jet wings.

I felt the same way the first time I slept with Minka Kelly.
Mark Cuban posted a pic with the trophy on the team plane heading back to Dallas.
Why does God want Lebron to have a sad?
If anyone knows what the hell Luke Russert’s talking about, feel free to enlighten me.
Uproxx Media co-overlord Jarret Myer expresses the disappoint all Miami Heat fans must be feeling today. However, how do you know Brian Cardinal didn’t sleep with a Heat fan’s wife last night, Jarret?
This.

Here’s video of the more than 16,000 Mavericks fans who gathered at American Airlines arena in Dallas to watch the game celebrating wildly.
