When was the last time you saw anything at a talent show that truly blew your mind? It’s probably been a while, huh?
Well, that’s about to change. Meet Mike Senatore from Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte. Mike not only dominated the senior talent show this week, he has also proceeded to dominate the internet.
What is the amazing talent that Mike possesses that has allowed him to become reigning King of the Internet? Well, just watch.

Holy hell. Bow down, everyone.
There’s a solid chance you might be thinking, “wait…what?” right now, which is a fine and normal reaction to have. Art is not always meant to be understood, but you’d be wrong not to at least appreciate the beauty of Mike’s performance in its simplicity. There’s no deeper meaning hidden beneath the surface — it’s just an absolutely perfect water bottle flip synced to music in front of an audience. And it’s amazing.
Think about it. How many times have you seen the same old song and dance at talent shows? And I mean that literally. I don’t have any statistics to back this up but I’m willing to bet that at least 90% of all talent shows nationwide mainly feature dumb teenagers performing the same tired songs and dances in search of polite applause from a bored-to-death audience that would rather be anywhere else in the world.
I mean just look at the list of auditions for this particular talent show:

Six people signed up for “animal impersonations.” One guy decided his best chance at wowing his peers was by seeing how many times he could clap in a minute. Four young idiots listed their talent as simply “Hot Fire,” whatever that means. Poor Amani LaRocque signed up for “Group Cheer Act” all by herself. It seems to me that the rest of this talent show was, in all likelihood, pure garbage.
But then there’s Mike, the visionary. His talent of “Battle Flipping” saved the show, the day, and maybe even the world.
The flip heard round the world

Thanks for being you, Mike.
