One thing’s for sure about Late Night with Seth Meyers: it’s going to last longer than The Chevy Chase Show. Meyers had some awkward moments during his debut performance as the host of a late-night show, but his uneasiness can be excused for nerves, especially because one of his guests was the rootinest, tootinest sumbitch the White House has ever seen, Vice President Joe Biden. Far more natural was Meyers’ conversation with Amy Poehler. The former-SNL cast members joked about her prank war with George Clooney, Poehler announced that Broad City had been picked up for a second season, and Meyers shared a photo of them, from 2001, when Poehler “had no teeth.”
It was taken the day they learned Josh Hartnett would be hosting SNL.
