Look at this cat! This cat’s name is Pocak, which is Hungarian, for “tummy,” and after watching just a few seconds of this video it’s easy to see why. Pocak’s human writes on YouTube that she as not been trained to beg, but picked up the unusual skill as a kitten. When she sees food, Pocak puts her front paws together and waves them in an upward and downward motion, that almost looks as if she’s praying or reeling in a fishing line with a big juicy fish on the end. (Which would also likely be a Pocak-approved snack.)
Pocak is not terribly discerning when it comes to what she’ll beg for, as you can see her wave her little kitty arms at anything from canned food and cat treats, to cookies, sausage, cereal, and what appears to be a dang cheeseburger.
You’d think Pocak would be a pickier cat due to her pedigree, of which her owner describes in detail:
I bought the cat from breeders, and when I picked her up, after watching the ‘exhibition’ of her parents’ awards from different cat ‘beauty pageants’, they handed me a 10 pages long handbook about what exactly I should feed the cat with, that she only eats Royal Canin etc.
On our way home, I made a deal with the cat: I won’t call her von Orchidenwald Baby Mercedes, like her mom, or similar posh cat names, and in exchange, she does not torture me with being snob and picky.
You could never accuse Pocak of being a snob, that’s for damn sure.
