15 Reasons Why 2012 Will Forever Be Known As ‘The Year Of The Gorgeous Ginger’

We don’t talk nearly enough about Jessica Chastain. We apologize for this most grievous of mistakes. In the past two years, she’s appeared in, among other films, The Help, Take Shelter, The Tree of Life, The Debt, and most recently, Zero Dark Thirty, which is garnering her serious Oscar buzz (unlike her role in Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted). The more Chastain, the better, we say, because she’s a fantastic actress, gives entertaining, self-deprecating interviews, and is a stunner. That last item is important.

In honor of Chastain, here are 15 redheads (some real, some imposters; some men, some women) who dominated 2012. It’s the perfect appetizer to the meal that is a two-hour movie about killing Bin Laden starring Bert Macklin and Coach Taylor.
