Twitter nearly pulled a muscle when Kentucky’s Anthony Davis grabbed his left knee in the second half after falling to the floor in the Wildcats’ South final win over Baylor. Before that it was all love for UK. It wasn’t just a 20-point lead at halftime that had people falling over themselves (we’re not saying they’re wrong) but the style; Terrence Jones and Davis got alley-oops whenever they wanted and Marcus Teague looked unstoppable. Baylor’s Perry Jones III and Deuce Bello, freak athletes, were invisible most the time. Anyway, Davis got back in, causing everyone to take a deep breath — that includes NBA GMs. … The Bears lost but this fan had a hell of a time. … They’ll face Louisville in the Final Four (the first time in 50 years teams from the same state face off in the Final Four) and Rick Pitino’s already baiting fans of his former team: “There will be people at Kentucky that will have a nervous breakdown if they lose to us.” Well played, Rick. … We’re out like Don Draper.
