Avery Bradley Dunked ALL OVER The Spurs In Boston

The Celtics’ Avery Bradley got up for the monster dunk against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday afternoon. Bradley was the high scorer for the Celtics with 18 points in their 95-87 loss.

It was a game that started off slowly, as neither team could make a field goal for the first three minutes of the first quarter, although San Antonio eventually jumped out to a 23-13 lead after one and carried a 13-point advantage into halftime. It was the Spurs’ new guard that led the way, with LaMarcus Aldridge putting up a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds and Kawhi Leonard contributing 19 points, including a key 3-pointer with just over two minutes left in the fourth to help put the game out of reach.

The Celtics made a couple of scrappy runs to stay within striking distance, including an 8-0 streak in the third quarter, and a late fourth-quarter spurt that closed a 14-point gap and brought them to within four. But the Spurs were ultimately able to withstand each of those runs to improve to 2-1 for the season. The win also marked the 541st victory for the Big 3 of Tony Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, the most by any trio in NBA history.

Boston’s biggest issue was their shooting, which was ice-cold all afternoon. They were 35-of-98 from the field, including a frigid 6-of-29 from downtown. The Spurs will travel to New York to face the Knicks on Monday, while the Celtics have a few days off before playing the Pacers in Indiana on Wednesday.
