This is a nice dunk, certainly, but nothing out of the ordinary for an athlete the wholly unique caliber of Kevin Durant. The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar is 6’11, his hands hang to his knees, and he moves like a guard. Needless to say, Durant is a freak.
Considering, there’s no reason for him to be excited by an uncontested breakaway slam like this, right? That’s not for us to say. What’s obvious is that Durant was very, very amped up after racing in front of Zach Lavine and throwing down a one-handed jam – enough that he chest-bumped the basket stanchion after landing. Twice.
