The ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Honest Trailer Takes Everyone To Task For The Same Spelling Mistake

Not to be outdone by their recent take on the original Disney animated film, Beauty and the Beast, the team behind the popular “Honest Trailers” series set their sights yet again on the Star Wars universe. This time, the chosen target is 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first of several planned stand-alone films set in the backdrop that illuminates the episodic film franchise famously created (and nearly destroyed) by George Lucas. Many of the same jokes made by fans and detractors alike pop up, though the Screen Junkies gang had plenty of ire for everyone who bombarded them with requests to roast Rouge One.

“Guys, you seriously gotta learn how to spell ‘Rogue,'” the video begins. “Get ready for Disney’s first Star Wars anthology movie, because there’s no way in hell they’d call it Star Wars Prequel #4. In what has to be the most money anyone has ever spent to fill in a plot hole.” And they’re not entirely wrong, either, since Rouge Rogue One does in fact change the way fans will view A New Hope after one of the series’ grittiest entries gets done filling in a few infamous gaps in Lucas’ original story. That, and introducing viewers to “an all new gang of rebels you… shouldn’t get too attached to.”
