One of the more, uh, unique parts of this year’s WrestleMania was Triple H being ushered to the ring by a posse of T-800s as part of a promotional tie-in with the upcoming Terminator: Genisys. I’m not sure that the entrance made me want to see Terminator: Genisys any more, but the producers must have been happy with the tie-in because they did it again.
Obviously, Terminator: Genisys is also coming out in Mexico, so this weekend at AAA’s Verano de Escandalo pay-per-view, Rey Mysterio got his own wacky Terminator entrance, which may have actually been better than Triple H’s WrestleMania spectacle. As you can see in these pics courtesy of AAA on Twitter, Mysterio’s custom Terminator costume certainly beat out Triple H’s dorky He-Man exoskeleton.

Everyone clearly needs their own regional pro wrestling Terminator. Slap some car parts on Nathan Jones for Australian shows. Put some robo makeup on Shinsuke Nakamura (Terminators are fan of Strong Style). I’m pretty sure Cesaro is already a Terminator, so Europe’s covered. Who would you give the all-important Terminator: Genisys entrance rub to?
