Former WWE Diva A.J. Lee Just Landed Her First Book Deal

Since leaving WWE, Former Diva’s Champion A.J. has been uncharacteristically mum about her wrestling career. Usually when people leave they can’t wait to get ‘their side of the story’ out, but instead of doling out shoot interviews and appearances, A.J. has been using the fame WWE garnered her to give back. She’s made efforts to get more girls into the gaming industry and interested in STEM, and recently started her own clothing line to raise funds and awareness for animal adoption.

Now, she’ll be opening up about her life in a new memoir:

The Leschne Agency is pleased to announce the AJ Brooks book deal!

Three-time WWE Diva’s Champion AJ Brooks’ CRAZY IS MY SUPERPOWER, a literary memoir chronicling her unlikely rise from 100-pound nerd growing up in extreme poverty and enduring years of abuse, to international sex symbol and professional wrestling champion (known as AJ Lee) who fought against stereotypes, forced the men in her industry to view her with respect, and inspired a huge fan base of over 2 million Twitter followers with her fierce independent streak.

While…I guess yeah, that’s one way to sum up her time in WWE. While it can be argued that WWE continually (and frustratingly) pigeonholed her into numerous stereotypes, the one thing you can say about A.J. is that through it all she still maintained an undeniable sense of self that helped her maintain that fanbase well outside of WWE. One thing about keeping quiet for so long is that whatever she has to write, people will be more than willing to listen to what she has to say.
