CM Punk Is Already A Huge Underdog In His UFC Debut

Today we might be celebrating the fifth anniversary of the day CM Punk stood on top of the pro wrestling world, but a safe betting individual will steer clear of this particular pipe bomb when his upcoming MMA debut against Mickey Gall rolls around at UFC 203.

Online betting website Bovada currently lists the fight’s odds as:

CM Punk +265 (53/20)
Mickey Gall -300 (1/3)

Gall is the overwhelming favorite, as his -300 money line odds mean you would have to bet $300 on him in order to win $100 in the event he wins the fight. Punk, meanwhile, would give you a cool $265 on that same $100 bet if he can pull off the upset.

It’s not surprising, as naysayers like Joe Rogan have been bagging on Punk’s octagon career since it was announced. Still, Punk has a golden opportunity to not only silence his detractors, but make some loyal Straight Edge Society fans pretty rich while doing it. This is a guy that has made a career of not letting people say no to him. One has to assume that the massive amount of of crap-talking that has been thrown his way since making this career change will only fuel him more when the fight starts.

After constant speculation and health delays, CM Punk finally gets in the ring with overwhelming favorite to win Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on September 10 in Cleveland.
