CNN Used Ric Flair To Explain Donald Trump’s Chances In The New Hampshire Primary

Earlier this week, The New York Times published a piece called ‘Donald Trump Isn’t Real,’ suggesting that Trump took his WWE persona into real-world politics to, for lack of a better phrase, “work” voters. His image and attitude are so pro wrestling-ready that he’s already got John Cena cutting him down in interviews. What’s next, low-blowing his opponents while the debate moderator isn’t looking? Again, I mean.

Now that Trump’s finished second in the Iowa Caucus behind Ted Cruz and the internet’s dragged him, CNN has some advice: If Trump wants to be taken seriously, he needs to take advice from “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.

“I’m told there’s a saying, which is, ‘Nobody likes a sore loser.’ In New Hampshire, does Donald Trump risk looking like a whiner?”
“Absolutely. There’s another saying, I’d quote Ric Flair, ‘To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man.’ “

When did CNN become us?

There’s nothing the WWE Universe likes worse than a whiner, folks. Maybe Trump should’ve dropped the WWE persona and brought the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling version where he’s sort of a benign celebrity everyone wishes they could hang out with.

We’re one step away from Trump dropping out of the race and dropping an elbow on his own jacket, and it’s going to be magical. WOOO!
