If you need an endorsement for public office — or for anything, really — human meme John Cena is your man. His political resume includes slamming WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump for his anti-Muslim rhetoric on morning talk shows and memorably announcing the “compromising to a permanent end” of Osama Bin Laden at WWE live events. He’s good at what he does.
Cena once again bounced off the ropes and tossed his personalized baseball cap into the political ring on Wednesday night during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, cutting a passionate, patriotic promo about Kimmel’s desire to be Vice President. If we don’t vote for Kimmel, Cena will “personally” give each and every one of us the Attitude Adjustment we deserve. He punctuated that statement by shattering his sad little lectern like the Hulk, who Cena also is.
I feel like every Cena talk show appearance should end with him smashing something. Pulling a jet for charity? Smash the jet. Learning how to make the perfect hamburger? Smash the grill over the chef’s head. Dancing to Salt-N-Pepa’s ‘Push It?‘ Throw the host through a window.
