John Cena Returned To Raw For A Major Confrontation

The poorly kept secret that John Cena was making his return to Raw became official on Monday night as the face that runs the place showed up at Kurt Angle’s request.

Cena got the big crowd pop and came out to talk a little bit in the ring before revealing that the real reason he was leaving SmackDown and coming back to Raw was to confront The Big Dog.

Yes, Cena was back on Raw in order to to stomp all over Roman Reigns’ yard and remind him that there are lots of big dogs out there. The two had a stare down in the ring as the crowd tried to figure out who they should boo before the Miz came out to save us all from Reigns on the mic and cut a strong, emotional promo on both Reigns and Cena.

Miz seemed more than a little bit upset that he got shoved to the first bout on the pre-show card at SummerSlam, when no one was even in the arena to see it, and let those feelings out. He yelled about deserving to be in the main event every night and how he’s worked hard for “12 damn years” to earn that respect and that right, while Reigns and Cena are handed every opportunity — which the crowd ate up.
After Miz’s impassioned plea for more respect — and denying a tag match against Reigns and Cena — Samoa Joe came out to remind everyone that there’s a third big dog on Raw, telling Reigns he owns him one-on-one and then attacked Cena. Joe punched Cena before locking in the Coquina Clutch while Reigns scrapped briefly with the Miztourage before helping Cena by Superman punching Joe.

Joe rolled out of the ring and suddenly there was a weird alliance between Cena and Reigns after it originally looked like they’d be feuding. It appears as though our next Raw feuds will be some combination of Reigns-Joe/Cena-Miz (again) or Reigns-Miz and Cena-Joe.
