John Cena Is Wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura In June. This Is Not A Drill.

When Shinsuke Nakamura debuted in NXT, we knew that it was a possibility he’d eventually wrestle John Cena. In our best dreams that match would take place on a big stage where Shinsuke could show the world just how great he is. Worst-case scenario is that match takes place on RAW, lasts three minutes and only serves as a way to build to a Cena/Randy Orton match or something. Either way we figured that match wasn’t happening any time soon.

Well think again. According to a local TV ad which was first reported at WrestleZone, John Cena is wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura for a house show. The lends credence to the speculation that the house show is going to be a WWE Network special.

There’s also another match on the card that we should pay attention to: Apparently Brock Lesnar is also wrestling Kevin Owens. That’s right. The match we all wanted at WrestleMania and have been looking forward to is happening. Hopefully this match is better than the other Brock house show matches and we get something that’s actually competitive. Or maybe this won’t end up on the Network and we get a squash.
